Tracing the histories, ideas, and everyday courage through which South Sudanese women and girls shape political life

I carry with me the communities, questions, and relationships that have shaped who I am. Even as I move through different spaces, I return to the lives that continue to ground me.

I have learned to notice how life is held together, often through the labor, care, and persistence of women and girls. I see how dignity is defended, how meaning is made in the face of uncertainty, and the small acts through which different possibilities begin to take shape.
